Olson Engineering's survey department, led by Pat Scott, P.L.S., has completed more than 7,000 commercial, industrial, residential and cadastral survey projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Your project will receive a consistent high level of quality and productivity from field data collection through data reduction and analysis, to final product delivery. Quality control procedures ensure all calculations are verified prior to the final release of data for staking or mapping. OEI's written field and office policies and procedures, developed from years of experience, help ensure complete, efficient, work that is well coordinated between you and our staff.
In addition, OEI has the equipment, vehicles and support resources to field multiple crews daily to accommodate your project's most stringent requirements. We use computerized field equipment to capture and record survey data that is electronically transferred to our office software. All field staff persons are certified in First Aid, CPR, Confined Space Entry and Traffic Control Flagging.
OEI also has field personel trained with Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC), E-rail Safe and Contractor Orientation certification for working within BNSF and Union Pacific railroad rights of way. We have two specially trained field crew members who have completed the 40 hour training for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (OSHA HAZWOPER Regulations) as well as the 8 hour OSHA Class II, Charred Materials Awareness, Asbestos Course, through the National Environmental Trainers and Asbestos Training Project Workplace Recourses, Inc. respectively.
